He earned his medical degree from the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine and completed a five-year orthopedic surgery residency at the University of Chicago Hospitals. Dr. Heller then went on to complete a fellowship in hand and upper extremity surgery at the renowned Curtis National Hand Center in Baltimore. Board-certified with a Certificate of Added Qualification in Hand Surgery, Dr. Heller has been serving the Chicago community since 1998.

Outside of the clinic, Dr. Heller enjoys an active and family-centered lifestyle. He spends much of his free time cycling, fly fishing, and enjoying the outdoors. Most of all, he values time with his wife and three daughters, whether it’s a quiet evening at home or an adventure together in nature.
